    Breakfast

You fed the baby. You got everyone else sorted. Then it's 11am and the only thing you've had is half a cold cup of tea.

The fix isn't trying harder at 7am. It's making breakfast the night before, when you've got two free hands for five minutes.

These chocolate overnight oats are made with the Nourish Mama Lactation Hot Chocolate, so they taste like dessert and they're built on organic raw cacao, millet and maca, stirred through oats. Five minutes tonight. Breakfast is waiting tomorrow.

Chocolate overnight oats in a glass jar topped with sliced banana, cacao nibs and coconut flakes, with a pack of Nourish Mama Lactation Hot Chocolate, Nella Vosk

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup rolled oats
    • 200ml oat milk or your favourite plant milk
    • 2 tsp Nourish Mama Lactation Hot Chocolate
    • 1 tbsp chia seeds
    • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)

    To serve

    • 1/2 banana, sliced
    • 1 tsp cacao nibs
    • 1 tbsp coconut flakes

    Directions

    1. In your jar, whisk the hot chocolate into a splash of the milk until it forms a smooth paste. This stops it clumping.
    2. Add the rest of the milk, the oats, chia seeds and maple syrup, if using. Stir well, making sure the chia seeds aren't stuck to the bottom.
    3. Seal and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4 hours.
    4. In the morning, give it a stir. Add a splash more milk if it's thicker than you like.
    5. Top with sliced banana, cacao nibs and coconut flakes. Eat cold, straight from the jar.
