This recipe is part of the Nella Vosk Pregnancy Nutrition: Complete Guide for Australian Mothers and sits within our Milk & Nourishment Flow support pathway.
This lactation overnight oats recipe does one specific thing: it turns your daily cup of Golden Latte into a breakfast you've already made by the time you wake up.

There's a particular kind of morning that happens when you're breastfeeding a newborn or in your third trimester. You're upright. Technically functional. But the idea of making a nourishing breakfast feels like an unreasonable ask before 7am.

These breastfeeding overnight oats are the answer to that morning. Five minutes of work the night before, stir four things into a jar, put it in the fridge, go to bed. In the morning it's waiting for you.
Creamy, warm-spiced, cold from the fridge. Anti-inflammatory before you've even spoken a word.
The Nourish Mama Pregnancy & Lactation Support Golden Latte does double work in this recipe: flavour and nourishment, from the same spoonful.

    Golden Latte Lactation Overnight Oats

    Ingredients

    • 1–2 tsp Nourish Mama Pregnancy & Lactation Support Golden Latte powder

    • ½ cup rolled oats

    • 1 tbsp chia seeds

    • 200ml coconut milk or oat milk

    • 1 tsp maple syrup

    • Sliced banana, toasted coconut flakes, drizzle of honey to serve

    • Optional: extra pinch of cinnamon, spoonful of nut butter

    Directions

    1. Add the Golden Latte powder, oats, chia seeds, milk, and maple syrup to a jar or container with a lid.
Stir well until the powder is fully dissolved and everything is combined.

    2. aste and adjust — add a little more maple syrup if you'd like extra sweetness, or an extra pinch of cinnamon for more warmth.

    3. Seal the jar and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 6 hours.

    4. In the morning, stir the oats. They should be thick and creamy. If they're thicker than you'd like, stir through a splash of extra milk.

    5. Top with sliced banana, toasted coconut flakes, and a drizzle of honey. Add a sprinkle of extra cinnamon if you'd like.

    6. Eat cold straight from the fridge, or warm gently in a small pot over low heat for 2–3 minutes, stirring, with a splash of extra milk as needed.
