Nella Vosk started in two very hard seasons of my life, years apart, both teaching me the same thing.

The first was when my baby developed severe eczema. The constant scratching. The skin bleeding overnight. The desperate search for anything that would let us both sleep. I tried everything I was pointed toward. Most of it helped a little, temporarily, and then the cycle started again.

What nobody told me was that there could be underlying issues driving the eczema and the sleep disruption, some of them linked to my own health. The problems weren't separate. They were connected. And the solutions I was being offered were all treating symptoms in isolation.

So I designed my own solution. I made the first Bamboo Bubby scratch sleeves in my living room, 16 years ago. A mitten-sleeved sleeping bag in soft bamboo fabric that protected my baby's skin through the night without overheating. It wasn't fancy. It worked. And slowly, other parents started reaching out.

The second hard season came during breastfeeding.

We were also struggling with allergies at the time, which meant most lactation products on the market weren't options for us. So I started making my own, allergy-friendly lactation cookies from real ingredients, formulated to actually support what my body needed. That became Yummy Mummy Food Company, now the Nourish Mama range under Nella Vosk.

What I noticed over time was that when my baby's skin was calmer, I slept. When I slept, I functioned. When I functioned, I could actually start looking after myself properly. The products I was making for my child were indirectly doing something for me too. That connection stuck with me.

But the deeper thing I kept coming back to was this: nobody had told me to look after myself first. Everything was pointed at the baby, at the milk supply, at the sleep schedule, at the skin. My own depletion, my own health, my own body's needs were almost never part of the conversation.

That bothered me enough that I went and got formally qualified to understand it. I am now a Certified Postpartum Nutrition Professional. And what I learned confirmed what I'd been piecing together through lived experience: when a mother is depleted, everything in the family system is affected. The milk. The skin. The sleep. The recovery. It all connects.

Nella Vosk is what happens when those two worlds, eczema support and postpartum nutrition, come together under one name. It's everything I've built, and everything I believe in, organised around one truth:
